Mrs. Sándor Rádi
Káva Municipality - Contact personI wish to express my regard for the Hungarian Food Bank Association on behalf of the people of Káva, a small village in Pest county because it is great to know that in today’s fast and inhuman world that is potentially the result of people struggling with financial problems, there is an organisation to which people can turn with their problems and they can always help, make people happy and put smiles on the faces of children and adults. This is the personal experience I gained from long years of successful cooperation with the Association.

Igazgyöngy Foundation - DirectorThe number of families and children living in deep poverty and struggling with daily food problems is continuously rising in Hungary. At the same time, customers are encouraged to buy more and more resulting in enormous oversupply of food. The Hungarian Food Bank Association has developed a unique way to address this contradiction and bridge the gap between these two extremes. With their assistance, organisations working to empower these people have the chance to distribute food to people who have restricted access to it. Your work is deeply appreciated.
Mrs. Péter Csipák

Leader of External and Internal CommunicationFor many years there has been a strategic partnership between Tesco Hungary and Food Bank. Over the years our simple sponsor-beneficiary relationship has developed into a real partnership through which the expertise of Food Bank and the vast knowledge of Tesco staff on commerce, logistics and quality assurance contribute to creating a more conscious and sustainable institutional operation and increasing civil awareness.

OD Partner Kft. - Consultant on Organisational DevelopmentWe have been supporting the work of Food Bank since 2009 as a partner organization in organisational development. We believe that the cause Food Bank strives for has profound effect on society and it is admirable how this handful group of people together with volunteers do their duty with all their might. We are happy to contribute and hope that through developing the functioning of the organization and the cooperation of the staff we can make their devoted work more effective and enjoyable.

Arany János Children’s Home - DirectorI chose Albert Schweitzer’s words to describe what the Hungarian Food Bank Association does day by day in a completely unselfish manner: ’Seek always to do some good, somewhere... Even if it's a little thing, do something for those that need help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it’.
